Reset Your Data

A data reset lets you remove your tasks, item lists, notes, and shared content from Grab For Me — without deleting your account. Your login and profile remain intact; only the content you have created is removed.

What a Data Reset Removes

All tasks you created
Shopping task titles, item lists, quantities
Deleted
Notes & amounts
Owner notes, buyer notes, submitted payment totals
Deleted
Friend connections
All QR-based connections with other users
Deleted
Account & profile
Email address, display name, avatar — kept intact
Kept
Tasks assigned to you by others
Tasks owned by another user where you are the buyer remain in that user's account. Your buyer assignment is removed and replaced with "Unassigned".

How to Reset Your Data In-App

  1. Open the app and sign in Make sure you are signed in to the correct account.
  2. Go to Settings Tap the profile / settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap "Reset Data" Find the Reset Data option in the Danger Zone section of Settings.
  4. Confirm the reset Read the confirmation prompt carefully and tap Reset all data. This cannot be undone.
A data reset is permanent and cannot be reversed. Make sure you want to remove all your tasks before confirming.
